SEND A LETTER OF PROTEST to Secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment in English

Sec. Patricia Sto. Tomas Secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment Dear Madam Secretary: The Toyota President in the Philippines, Mr. Nobuharu Tabata continues to refuse to negotiate with the TMPCWA despite the Supreme Court decision. The Supreme Court of the Philippines has removed the obstacle for CBA negotiations when it rendered its final decision declaring illegal the Injunction issued by the Court of Appeals against the decision of the Secretary of Labor and Employment recognizing the Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation Workers Association (TMPCWA) as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent. Now, in order to counter the Supreme Court decision, they put up a company supported union the TMPCLO to put in doubt the status of TMPCWA. They succeeded in causing lower ranked labor officials to call for election. The Toyota President must stop their union busting tactics at once. The Secretary of Labor and Employment must not entertain this tactics and maintain its decision recognizing TMPCWA..

フィリピンのトヨタ社長である田畑 延明氏は、最高裁判所の決定にも関わらず、
TMPCWA との交渉を依然拒否し続けています。
フィリピン最高裁判所は、フィリピントヨタ労組（TMPCWA）を唯一の交渉代表権者
と認めた労働雇用省長官の決定に反して高等裁判所が下した差止命令を違法であ
ると言い渡し、団体交渉協定交渉への障害を取り除きました。
そのため、フィリピントヨタ社は最高裁判所の決定に対抗するべく、TMPCLOという
会社支援による組合を立ち上げ、TMPCWA の地位を揺るがそうとしています。彼ら
の働きにより、労働雇用省の下級役人（職員）は承認投票を求める（要求する）に至
りました。
トヨタ社長は即刻、組合潰しの策略を止めるべきです。
労働雇用省長官におかれましては、この策略を受け入れず、TMPCWA を承認する
決定を維持すべきであると考えます。
